IBC2026 Press Appointments – Calrec

We’re in August, which means only one thing… it’s time to start making press appointments for IBC2026! This year, we’re scheduling bookings for Calrec (8.C47). Calrec will show how its IP-native ecosystem, with the award-winning Argo console range at its centre, puts more choice in broadcasters' hands. Built to run on-prem, remote, virtualised, or connected through orchestration platforms such as Grass Valley's AMPP and NEP's Platform, Argo lets productions be configured project by project – so cost tracks the scale of the job, not the reverse.

At IBC 2026, Calrec presents its IP ecosystem powered by remote production capability True Control 2.0, built around Argo S and Argo M consoles – networked with an ImPulse IP processing core and ImPulseV virtualised audio mixing engine. Three Argo consoles on the stand will link via True Control 2.0 to a fourth at Calrec's Hebden Bridge, UK head office.

ImPulseV adds two smaller DSP packages – 96 and 140 path – alongside the existing 256-path option, each with full processing per path and support for 5.1 and immersive formats up to 7.1.4. New shorter licensing terms (one year, 12 weeks, four weeks) suit temporary or one-off productions.
